Father Knows Best

When I was in my twenties, I would pray out of greed? I prayed for more money, to be famous, and prayed for nice things. Then I would get upset with God for not giving me what I wanted. You have heard the term: Father knows best.

I thought that I had my life all figured out I ran into a wall. I thought I knew everything. God will take us down a notch if he has to.

Anytime that I have tried to run my life, I have messed it up. When I let Jesus take the wheel, God takes over and says, “Believe me, I got this!” God know where we were, where we are, and where we need to be.

For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord. As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts. Isaiah 55:8-9 NIV.

  1. Dear friend,

Personal prayers or worldly prayers are still prayers coming from our mind and ego. To make a business with God is impossible. When we have good wishes and prayers for others – not material wishes (to a certain extent), wishes that those who are in darkness may get some light and consciousness, understanding to change their life positively, to be of help to their soul – these prayers definately will be heard if they come out of compassion from one’s own heart.

Thanks for sharing and have a nice time 🙂
