I lived in Alaska for 18 years. Let me get a few things out of the way. I did not live in an igloo. It is dark for 9 months and the sun comes for the other 3 months. Yes, it was really cold. Now that I answered all your questions.
Alaska is really cold😉! I have been in 70 below zero weather. You think it would be unbearable. All I can say is you adapt. If you don’t believe in God, visit Alaska. You will be a believer.
It is beautiful. The mountains. The trees. I am still in awe of the things I saw in Alaska. God’s creation in 3D. The cold could feel unbearable, but being amongst God’s creation made it bearable. When live brings you snow, grab a pair of skis.
Sometimes life can seem unbearable. Remember that God doesn’t give us anything we can’t handle. Just know that after the struggle comes a huge blessing. Don’t let one bad moment make you forget all the blessings you have.
We will struggle. We will suffer. Just know that Jesus goes before us and leads us through the battle. He will walk by our side. Go ahead….let him take the wheel.
Have I commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go. Joshua 1:9 NIV
