Complaining

When I was younger, I did not have the same work ethic as I do now. I complained and argued with my boss. How dare he talk to me like that?

When I got older, I realized a few things. First, I was there to work, not be best friends with the boss. Second, Bosses will correct us, only to help you get better at your job. Third, we are to go to our jobs knowing we are doing it not just for us, but the Glory of God. Our faith should shine like stars in the night in all that we do. Let’s not complain but give Thanks to God for the blessings of having salvation. And a job.

Do everything without complaining or arguing, so that you may become blameless and pure, children of God without fault in a crooked and depraved generation, in which you shine like stars in the universe. Philippians 2:14-15 NIV
