Justified By Faith

So the law was our guardian until Christ came that we might be justified by faith. Galatians 3:24 NIV

We have been justified in our faith through Christ. In Theological terms: justification is an action of declaring or making righteous in the sight of God. That is the key: it is an action.

Our faith is alive and moving. All worry ends when our faith becomes an action. Our faith tells us that no matter what we go through, God is there. Our faith may not lead us where we want to be, but it always leads us where we need to be.

I had an atheist friend who asked me how I can believe in something that I can’t see. That is why we have faith. It is not about seeing, it is about feeling. When the Holy Spirit reveals it, you feel God is real. You feel Him in your life. You just know that he is real. The world cannot see because they don’t want to.

So rejoice in your faith and your love for one another. We are Children of God. Amen. The Lord Be With You!

See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him. 1 John 3:1 NIV
