Money Talk

I wish my wife and I made more at our job than we do. We all wish we had more money. We all could use more money. I find myself thinking that I don’t have enough, but in reality, God provides what we need. We have a roof over our head and all our bills are paid and we don’t go hungry.

Sometimes we concentrate on what we want and fail to realize that we are taken care of. So what that I can’t afford a new car. God provides and money isn’t everything.

There were times that I was not married and my focus was making money. It got to a point where I never had enough and I was never satisfied. I just wanted more.

Whoever loves money never has enough; whoever loves wealth is never satisfied with their income. This too is meaningless. Ecclesiastes 5:10 NIV

As Christians, we can have nice things and God wants us to be financially stable and more. God isn’t about money. He is about blessings. There is that old saying: If you want to see what God thinks of money, just look who He gives it to.

Money is not the root of all evil. The love of money is. When we put our love of money above our love for Jesus, we fail to recognize the many blessings that he gave us.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We are so thankful for the many blessings that you give us on a daily basis. Help us not to be selfish and always be thankful for what we have. We know that more blessings will come. We thank you for Jesus. Jesus, we thank you! Please keep us safe. In Jesus Name We Pray. Amen!

God Bless You and Happy Resurrection Day!
