Friends Forever

What is the difference between a friend and an acquaintance? A friend is someone that cares for you and always speaks good of you. An acquaintance is someone that you hardly know.

My grandpa once told me that you will be lucky to count your good friends on one hand when you get old. When I was younger, I trusted everyone. I thought everyone was my friend.

A true friend will never gossip or talk ill of you. A fake friend is nice when they get what they want, but talk bad about you behind your back. I was fooled by a few fake friends in the past.

As Christians, we are all brothers and sisters and are therefore called to be best friends with one another. We are called to not gossip. Be compassionate. Love others as Jesus loved us.

One who has unreliable friends soon comes to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother. Proverbs 18:24 NIV

In life, we will feel lonely. For so many people, being in a large crowd can remind people of there sadness. Sometimes we can feel isolated from the world. But is it a bad thing?

People come and go in your life, but true friends stick together. Brothers and Sisters in Christ stick together. One good friend is better than 1000 fake friends. Being in the Body of Christ where we all consider one another friends and family is as priceless as the God we serve.
