The Narrow Gate

Being a Christian does not mean that you will not suffer. It just means that you have Jesus walking beside you in times of trouble. Being a Christian can be hard.

Imagine two gates. One is narrow and the other is wide. The wide one represents the world. It is easy to walk through, but it leads to darkness.

The narrow gate represents our Walk with Christ. There are hills to climb and mountains to move, but we have our faith. Most importantly, Jesus walks besides us and even carries us when we are tired. It leads to eternal life. Which gate do you prefer?

Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and many enter through it.But small is the gate and narrow the way that leads to life, and only a few find it. Matthew 7:13-14 NIV
