Two Greatest Commandments

Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. Mark 12:30 NIV

In this verse, Jesus illustrates our faith in an awesome way. To have faith, we must first believe. He tells us to love God within our inner being. Love Him with all our Heart for he first loved us. We are to love Him with our souls for He saved our souls through Christ Jesus.

We are to love Him with all our mind and with all of our strength. This will strengthen our Faith and we will be rewarded with wondrous blessings. We are to put nothing before Him.

The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself. There is no commandment greater than these.” Mark 12:31 NIV

The golden rule. We all know it, but how many of us practice that on a daily basis? Love your neighbor doesn’t just mean your next door neighbor. It is everyone. We are all neighbors in life.

We are passengers on the same flight. Love Jesus for he first loved us. Love your neighbors as yourself. There are no commandments greater than these. Praise God!
