Alive In Christ: Part 5

Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. Colossians 3:15 NIV

As Christians, we are all a part of the Body of Christ. In order to be fully united, we must have the peace that only Jesus gives. We should also give thanks that we have it. Without having the peace of Christ, we can never be fully united.

Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts. Colossians 3:16 NIV

A big part of being alive in Christ is being an example and revealing the life that is in us by loving and ministering. What good is our faith if we do not share it? It does not help us or other people in that case.

Share the wisdom that God reveals. Share the gospels! Sing praises to Him. Glorify His Name. Thanks be to God!

And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him. Colossians 3:17 NIV

Lastly, whatever we do, whether by mouth or by action, do it all in the name of Jesus Christ. Do it all for the Glory of God. Give thanks everyday! When we give thanks to the Son, We give thanks to God. When we are alive in Christ, we are alive in God.

The End….or should I say the beginning….😀

  1. It saddens me that over the course of history we have failed miserably to act in peace as one body, given the wars and bloodshed between Protestants and Catholics. Nevertheless, I am encouraged by the unity He calls us to and the truly remarkable impact we can make when we surrender to His design and perform the function of our unique calling.
