The Three G’s

As I continue with my studies in being a Pastor, I have gained a new understanding of the Word. Since my original calling at 12, I have grown so much in understanding. Yet preaching and sharing the word is not limited to Pastors.

We as Christians are called to share the Word of God. You will be amazed at the opportunities that God gives us to witness in his name. It could be when you are standing in that long line at the DMV or the bank. Anywhere! How can people hear the Good News without being told of God’s Saving grace?

How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!” Romans 10:14-15 NIV

When ministering to others, the best introduction is the 3 “Gs”. We have guilt. We are all guilty of sin. We have Grace. God sent his Son to die on the cross for our justification and our future sanctification. We are saved by His Grace.

Lastly, we have gratitude. We are saved. We should show utmost gratitude and thanks for our Salvation. Praise be to God.
