Thy Will

I can do nothing on my own. I judge as God tells me. Therefore, my judgment is just, because I carry out the will of the one who sent me, not my own will. John 5:30 NLT

We can do stuff on our own if we want to make a mess of it. I have found that when I try to live by my own means, I fall short. When we live by our means, we fall short of the Glory of God.
Jesus illustrates how God directs His life. He can do nothing on His own. Even he admits that. When He judges, God directs Him. Therefore his judgment is just. Because it came from God!

Jesus set his own will aside when He died on the Cross. He took up the Cross and said, “Not my will, but Your will be done!” We too need to pick up our crosses and follow Jesus and let God’s Will be done. Hallelujah!
