Money

Those who love money will never have enough. How meaningless to think that wealth brings true happiness! Ecclesiastes 5:10 NLT

Let me clear something up. Money is not the root of all evil. The love of money is the root of all evil. The Bible tells us that it is easier for a camel to get through an eye of a needle than it is for a rich man to get into Heaven.

This is not saying that no rich people will be in Heaven. Those who love money will never have enough. God will bless people with money and we all need money. Money does not brong happiness. Material things might make us happy temporarily, but true happiness comes from God.

The more you have, the more people come to help you spend it. So what good is wealth—except perhaps to watch it slip through your fingers! Ecclesiastes 5:11 NLT

I always thought about what I would do if I won the lottery. If I won the lottery, people would come out of the woodworks with their hands out. Money is temporary. You make it and it leaves your hands. Jesus is forever. Money is temporary. We cannot take it to Heaven with us.

  1. Allot of people get the wrong idea of scripture pertaining to money. Jesus said the love of money is the root of evil. And because they don’t read the scripture they immediately think that having money is evil.
