Faith 101 Series: Part 3

In that day you will say: “I will praise you, LordAlthough you were angry with me, your anger has turned away and you have comforted me.  Isaiah 12:1 NIV

When I spoke about propitiation on some of my post, I do it because it is an important part of our Faith. God’s judgement is diverted. He was once angry at our ways, but that anger has been turned away from us. Hallelujah!

Living in our faith is trusting in the Lord and knowing that He is going to take care of us. Faith is not believing He Can, It is believing that He Will. Jesus will come to our defense through worldly attacks. He is our Salvation. Praise the Lord!

Surely God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid. The Lord, the Lord himself, is my strength and my defense he has become my salvation.” With joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation. Isaiah 12:2-3 NIV

Here is a huge part of living our faith. When our sins are forgiven, God changes us. The light of Christ shines on us. We need to keep that light shining to lead the lost our way. So they will see our faith risen and alive that they too will want to know why we are happy.

Give your testimony to others and show people what Jesus has done and is doing in your life. When we share the gospel, we are praising God. He has done glorious things and He wants everyone to share in His bounty. That is living in Faith.

In that day you will say: “Give praise to the Lord, proclaim his name; make known among the nations what he has done, and proclaim that his name is exalted. Sing to the Lord, for he has done glorious things; let this be known to all the world. Isaiah 12:4-5 NIV
