Free Will

“I have the right to do anything,” you say—but not everything is beneficial. “I have the right to do anything”—but not everything is constructive. No one should seek their own good, but the good of others. 1 Corinthians 10:23-24

God gives us all free will. We are free to believe and we are free to sin but the two are not compatible with one another. We have the right to do anything? Yet is what we are doing benefiting others and glorifying God?

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; 6in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6 NIV

We are not capable of running our own lives. We may be able to outsmart one another, but we cannot outsmart God. When we walk in faith, we put all our trust in Jesus. Let Jesus walk with us. Let the Holy Spirit guide us. Let God love us.

Are you struggling or suffering or having problems in life? Take it to Jesus. He says that His yoke is easy and His burden is light. Give it to Jesus and believe.
