Affirmations: Part 2

If you see any brother or sister commit a sin that does not lead to death, you should pray and God will give them life. I refer to those whose sin does not lead to death. There is a sin that leads to death. I am not saying that you should pray about that.

We know that the wages of sin are death. It does not mean that we will die literally. When we sin, we open up a slow fade to a separation. What is worse than physical death? A spiritual separation from God.

Being sinful is when we dwell in our wrong doings and let them draw a separation from God. There is a sin that leads to death or immediate seperation from God. That is blasphemy of the Holy Spirit. It is a total rejection of God and Jesus and His will. It is a total rejection of the Trinity.

All wrongdoing is sin, and there is sin that does not lead to death. 1 John 5:16-17 NIV

This is another affirmation. Sin does not have to control us. When we are in God’s grace and when we walk with Jesus, we are not bound by the laws of sin and death.

We are bound by God’s grace and the wonders that he offers and affirms us through the Word. If a brother or sister in Christ sins, we are called to pray for them. Have faith and affirm God’s Love to everyone and pray that God will lead them back home. Hallelujah!
